Social connection app aimed at people who are new to an area, and are looking for a specific type of nightlife experience. Users can be host in their home town or can be guests and be connected with like-minded people. Users punch in location quality such as price and formality, then select host personality qualities that are represented as drink types. Bendr automatically connects you with a location and host that matches your preferences from most to least. You can also change personal settings such as location radius, gender preference, and group sizes.
While developing the brand and flow of Bendr, I also had the pleasure to work with a group of Conestoga IT students. After a pitch night, the student chose to work on Bendr for their capstone project. It was an amazing experience to work with such knowledgable people, and they really pushed me to question aspect of the app that I never even thought of. After this project, I understand the value of cooperation across various fields.
